A person that I admire  The person I admire is Pedanius Dioscorides he was a greek physician, pharmacologist, botanist and author of De Materia Medica ( Greek encyclopedia about herbal medicine and related medicinal substances (a pharmacopeia), which was widely read for more than 1,500 years.) He was native of Anazarbus, Cilicia, Asia Minor, probably studied medicine nearby at the school in Tarsus, which had a pharmacological emphasis, and he dedicated his medical books to Laecanius Arius, a medical practitioner there. I admire this gentleman for the book he wrote, he was a genius when writing it, specially for the time in which he lived, this book is important because is the prime historical source of information about the medicines used by the Greeks, Romans, and other cultures of Antiquity, also De Materia Medica formed the core of the European pharmacopeia through the 19th century, suggesting that "the timelessness of Dioscorides' work resulted from an empirical trad...

My favorite movies/tv shows Well talking about my favorite movie is something difficult because I love many movies of different genres and another reason is because my family love watching movies and we watch a lot of movies, believe me when I say, a lot of them. One of them is Untouchable, this movie it is a good comedy-drama film, the plot about that is amazing and I really recommended you watch that. The other movies that I like are all based in the books of Dan Brown (one of my favorite writers) for example The Da Vinci code, well I know the movies are not exactly as the books are because I read them, I hate this but I think the movies are so good. My favourite picture  Well this is my favourite picture, as you can see it is a photo of my sister and me, this was taken in my house in San Fernando city some weeks ago and my boyfriend took it. This photo is special for many reasons, the principal reason is that my sister is in there, she is the most important person in my life, she is a spectacular person in many aspects, she is so lovely, funny and kind, she always has a smile on her face, truly she is a very happy person. We have a very good relationship, at the point that always do the same things (for example both play handball and participate in the orchestra) , we really like passing time together and whenever we are separated we miss each other a lot. I really care about her, she always tells me I'm her second mom, I think I still see her as my little sister who needs my help. Favourite piece of technology I don't really have any favourite piece of  technology, the reasons is that  I don't have affinity with technology, I'm a really clumsy person regarding the use of this type of objects, to the point that I still don't know how to use my cell phone well. I always need the help of my sister when I use some piece of technology because she knows so much about that, she is a really technological person. But if I need choose some object, I choose the cellphone, one reason is that in this moment is the only thing with which I can communicate with my family, in general I think is a good object, cellphone have a lot of functions that all people used every day but also I think that has caused a great impact in the society because the people usually think that really need this object, to the point that people usually forget that the most important comunication is the interaction whit other person.

My hobbies First of all I have many hobbies so I will only talk about 3, the most important The first one is reading, since I was a little girl I like reading books but my passion for books began at age 14 maybe, I like everything from books, especially because they are able to move me to another world. I don't have a favourite genre, I only read the synopsis and if it catches my attention I read it. I really read many books of different genres and I have a large collection of books at home because my parents encourage my hobby. The second is art, since I can remember I like to paint, the fact of being able to express with a pair of brushes,a bit of temper/acrylic and a blank canvas. My art teacher encouraged my love for this form of expression and with her I did many paintings and different types of manual works. Why did I choose this career? Why I chose this career is so complicated to explain because it was a difficult decision to make, one of the reasons is that I don't have a defined area (example: humanistic, scientific or artistic), I like many different things. When I started secondary school, I  was convinced that I wanted to be a chemistry engineer, but in my last year I began to doubt that, and I started to change my opinion, my teachers made me see that I had many things of my personality that I repressed, and those things were the ones that made me reconsider studying Chemistry and Pharmacy and I ended choosing it, because it's one of the few careers that covers most areas, it agrees with my personality and I really like it.
